What one visit to The Sidekick Set sends to Meta, and the three-step fix.
POST facebook.com/tr id = 1370358243924446 (the only pixel that fires on your site) ev = ViewContent cd[content_ids] = ["53698994176297"] (variant ID) cd[content_type] = product
That's what the Shopify Facebook & Instagram app should send: a variant ID that matches how its own catalog keys items. So the IDs are probably fine. No other pixel fires anywhere on the page.
A catalog only counts events from the pixel or dataset connected to it. You mentioned an older Shopify pixel is connected to the catalog. That pixel never fires on your site, so from the catalog's point of view, ViewContent, AddToCart and Purchase never arrive, and the match rate is 0%.
Likely today
Catalog "Shopify Product Catalog" (222 items) event source: old pixel (silent) Site events → 1370358243924446 (not linked)
Fixed
Catalog "Shopify Product Catalog" (222 items) event source: 1370358243924446 Site events → 1370358243924446 → match
Match rate updates over 24–48 hours of traffic. I'd check Commerce Manager → Events for ViewContent, AddToCart and Purchase above 90% before closing out.
